 **Research Interests:** knowledge design; archives, museums, and libraries; the material history of literature; paleography and codicology; Dante, Petrarch, Boccaccio; 12th-14th-century Romance literatures; 20th-century Italian architecture and design; the fascist decades; Futurism, Dada, Bauhaus, Constructivism, Surrealism, Fluxus; radical pedagogies; the future of the book, curatorial practice as a form of scholarship; robotics and digital media.
